Based on the extensive experience of the US Fire Pump Emergency Response Team in suppressing industrial fires and mitigating other hazards, the DFI unit was designed to assist in combating dangerous fires by injecting foam into the water system
The highly effective injection unit utilizes FoamPro® technology to monitor foam and inject foam concentrate into your pump and hose pipeline, helping you combat any situation. It is capable of flowing 300 GPM (1,136 LPM) of foam concentrate into the system while accurately and consistently monitoring the foam-to-water ratio to ensure effective suppression and minimize waste.
The water and foam mixture can be supplied to large-volume firefighting monitors, such as the US Fire Pum Sentry 9© trailer-mounted monitor, or delivered through long-distance hose relays—substantially ncreasing logistical efficiency at incident sites. In today’s ever-changing foam market, the DFI stands out as one of the most reliable and effective solutions available, proven to perform across a wide range of foam types.
The DFI unit is compact and easy to deploy. Its self-contained pumping system can be mounted on a base skid or trailer for convenient transportation. A large, integrated fuel tank provides enough capacity to run the pump for up to 8 hours.
Firefighting expertise and a commitment to reliability are built into the design of the control system. All US Fire Pump DFI units feature a user-friendly, water-resistant control panel as the primary interface, along with advanced sensors, redundant control mechanisms, and emergency shut-down switches to ensure safe and efficient operation.
